Website, applications & integrations

A connected digital platform for Empire Genomics.

More than the storefront
I built the Empire Genomics website and developed custom applications and integrations behind it. The work spans the customer-facing experience, API connections, Dynamics GP integration, label-making tools, and custom document creation.

Search built around the product
Customers can search by clone, gene, locus, or genomic region, then refine the results by genome build and chromosome. The interface puts matching probes, coverage information, and product-selection actions together instead of treating every search as a generic catalog lookup.
Context before ordering
Production pass/fail counts are intentionally visible to customers. They show how many times a probe has been produced with each outcome, providing additional context for the customer’s ordering decision—not a guarantee of future performance.
Make the details easier to explore
Product pages combine visual presentation with the information buyers need to review: kit components, features, specifications, and ordering options. The goal is a clear path from discovering a product to understanding what is included.

01 / Connect
API & Dynamics GP integration.
Integration work connects the website and custom applications with business systems, extending the project beyond the public pages.
02 / Produce
Custom label-making tools.
Purpose-built label tools support operational workflows that a standard website does not cover.
03 / Generate
Custom document creation.
Document-generation functionality adds another practical layer to the internal application work. Internal screens and records are not shown here.

Conversation meets the catalog
The customer-facing AI assistant provides another entry point for finding probes, locating documents, and comparing product options. Answers can include structured product cards and comparison tables, with links back to the catalog.
Keep the next step grounded
In this example, the assistant distinguishes the requested product from an unrelated search result and asks for clarification. The comparison keeps product details visible so customers can review the options rather than relying on conversational text alone.
