Full website, calculators & backend development

FREEandCLEAR

A complete platform for exploring mortgage options.

Built beyond the public pages

I built the full FREEandCLEAR website, including its calculators, lender directory, API integrations, and backend administration. The work also covered mobile optimization and performance improvements guided by PageSpeed Insights, bringing the public experience and the systems behind it into one project.

Turn questions into interactive tools

Calculator development was a core part of the build. The interface brings inputs, calculated outputs, and supporting explanations together, giving visitors a way to explore scenarios within the site. My contribution was the web implementation; the site retains its own subject-matter and editorial credits.

01 / Mobile

A usable experience on smaller screens.

Mobile optimization was part of the full website work, extending beyond the homepage to the site’s content and interactive features.

02 / Performance

Performance as part of the build.

I worked on maximizing performance through PageSpeed Insights-guided optimization. Scores depend on the page, device, and test conditions; no fixed score or improvement percentage is claimed here.

03 / Administration

The backend to support the website.

The project included full backend administration as well as API integrations. These systems are part of the delivered scope, while the screenshots here remain focused on the public site.

Give lender information a structure

I built the lender directory as part of the wider platform. Profiles organize lender information into a consistent presentation, including an overview, lender type, mortgage programs, and locations. The result is a dedicated place to explore a lender rather than relying on a name in a list.

Connect information with useful controls

API integration work formed part of the full build. On the public side, the rate comparison experience places search criteria beside lender information, letting visitors refine what they see within the same page. Third-party data and advertising retain their source disclosures.

Keep the next step connected

The quote page combines purchase and refinance entry points with supporting educational content. It is another part of the complete website experience, connecting information pages with an actionable next step while retaining the provider’s identity and disclosures.
